MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter ten

I was sooo getting annoyed. I had a headache, I was hot, I was hungry, I was squashed, BECAUSE NUDGE MOVED TO SIT IN THE FRONT BETWEEN ME AND FANG. I was ready to get out of a teeny tiny van. We were heading back in the direction of the mall where we had picked up our extra passenger. (Jasmine, if you were wondering which one I'm talking about.) I was about to scream at Iggy and Gazzy, because they would not STOP talking about explosives. But I would prefer that over Thing 1 and Thing 2 giggling every stinkin' moment. We had the air conditioner blasting, but it was still way too hot in that van. And Nudge, being the sweet little girl that she is, wouldn't shut up either. She was talking my ear off. So, finally, I pulled off the side of the road.

"Why are we pulling over?" I heard someone ask, but my brain was too fried to recognize who it was.

"Because I need AIR." I said, practically falling out of the car. I gasped in air and looked around. There was no one else around besides the big group, so I opened my wings and stretched out as much as I could. The air was getting a little bit colder, and that was a good thing for me. It also meant it was getting darker, though. So pretty soon, I was going to be getting tired and Fang would have to take over driving. To be honest, I wouldn't mind that so much. Driving makes me nervous. Much rather be flying.

I sighed and crawled back into the drivers seat of the van. "Feel better?" Nudge asked with a smile.

"Not really, but I'll get over it." I said with a sigh. Then I started the car back up and we began driving again.

Once the sun had set, I was done. I didn't like driving when it was dark out, and driving just took it out of me. Besides, my head was still throbbing and I wanted to sleep. Oh, how I wanted to sleep. Everyone else had started to doze off, and the back had quieted down considerably. Aside from Total's snoring, that is. I pulled over again and got out. "Fang, your turn." I said, walking around the front of the car to the passenger side. Fang and I touched hands and exchanged secret smiles as we walked past each other. (Well, I hoped they were secret...) Fang and I got back into the car at about the same time and we both buckled up. Fang adjusted the mirrors so he could see out of them, and I leaned the chair back as much as I could without crushing anyone. Which, unfortunately, wasn't far enough. I made myself as comfortable as I could and held up my fist. I felt the others stack theirs on top of mine, except for Fang, then I pulled my hand back and closed my eyes. Nudge leaned over so that her head was resting on my abdomen, and I put a hand on her messy hair. I heard Gazzy, Iggy, and Angel exchanging good-nights, and I heard Kalie, Sam, Thing 1 and 2 do the same. I opened my eyes again and looked back at Jamie. She was way in the back by the window on the same side as the drivers seat. She looked sad...she must have felt the same way I did when I thought about my mom. Except, she didn't have the Flock like I did. We were all with her, but...she was still alone. She didn't have that bond with us like we had with each other. I sighed and closed my eyes, and promised myself that tomorrow night I would say goodnight to her, too.

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter nine

All of us got into a fighting stance, including Jasmine, although hers was a bit shaky. "Okay, guys. There aren't that many M-Geeks, so take out as many as you can and we should be good. Unless they have guns. If they have guns, that's a different story." I couldn't make out any guns, but you can never be too sure. The M-Geeks landed and looked a little confused at the sight of two me's. I can't blame them. It confused me, too. "Max-HIH-mum Ride," one chimed. "Come with us." He said again. I rolled my eyes.

"Which one?" I asked, cocking a bit of a smile. There was no response for that. So we started kicking butts. We all went for the one closest to us, including Thing 1, Thing 2, and Angel. We were all going at it. It was a good fight. It didn't last too long, though, because we had more people. So, a battle that would usually last twenty minutes, only lasted fifteen. In those fifteen minutes, I snapped robot backs, clunked robot heads, and bumped into Fang. I blushed. That almost made me got hit by an M-Geek, but I ducked after seeing him in my peripheral vision.

Once all of the robo-heads were on the ground, I looked around to make sure everyone was still alive. We were. We were all panting, and had some scrapes and bruises, but we were all alive. I noticed Jasmine was sitting on the ground, panting hard. "You okay?" I asked her as I walked over to her. She nodded.

"Just a bit winded. I've only been in a real fight once before this...the one at the mall... And my shoulder hurts..." She replied. She rubbed her shoulder and winced. It looked kinda odd and...out of place, almost. I knelt down and looked at her shoulder, feeling it carefully.

"Hey, Iggs, can you come here and check out this shoulder?" I called to Iggy. He was better at this stuff than me. Iggy walked over and bent down to feel Jasmine's shoulder. He rubbed it a bit and she winced again. Iggy put one hand on the front of Jasmine's shoulder and the other on the back of her shoulder.

"You're gonna feel a little pressure, then a pop...and it might hurt a bit..." Iggy said as he rubbed her shoulder with both hands. Suddenly, he moved her shoulder back and there was a distinct "pop" that came from her shoulder. She jumped and scrunched her face up while hissing in a breath. Her jumping made me jump, in turn.

"Does that feel better?" Iggy asked.

"At the moment, no." Jasmine hissed. "But I'm sure it will get there..." Iggy smiled and rubbed her shoulder just a little bit more before backing away. I stood up and looked at the new group.

"Okay, we need to get moving again. Let's get up in the air and-" I stopped talking and realized Jasmine couldn't fly. Fudge. I thought, looking back at Jasmine, who was now smiling at me.

"Try not to forget I'm here, okay?" She said, standing up and holding her shoulder. I let out a laugh that was completely fake and headed for the car.

"Who wants to drive?" I asked, my voice totally giving away my mood. My mood, by the way, was not happy. Kalie jumped at the thought of driving, but I shook my head no.

"Too young." I said, and her shoulders slumped.

"Please, not Fang!" Jasmine said. Fang glared at her.

"I'll drive then." I said, walking over to the drivers seat. "Everybody pile in!" I said. "Don't forget to buckle up!" The rest of our now expanded group squeezed into the van.

"If it wasn't tight before, it is now!" Total yelled, sitting on Angel's lap. Fang crawled into the passenger seat and buckled up. I heard Sam and Kalie whispering in the back.

"We can fly, you know..." Kalie suddenly said. I shook my head.

"Nope. I don't want you flying off and telling Itex what we're driving and where we're going." I said, starting up the car. I heard some grumblings, but I ignored them. And then, we were off. All...twelve of us??

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter eight

We flew for forever. (Okay, not for forever. But it was a really long time.) Thing 1 and Thing 2 kept to the back of the group talking and giggling with each other. I figured they were twins. Sam and Kalie flew behind me, occasionally whispering to each other. Sam looked the oldest of the group. He was also the biggest, with a wingspan bigger than my own. Thing 1 and Thing 2 both had blond hair and white wings with brown speckles on them, and Kalie's wings were a dark brown glinted with a purple-ish color. Sam's wings were a light brown with white speckles.

But enough about the wings. I kept following the Voice's directions, and eventually, I saw a van. There they are. The Voice said. I dived down without a word to the the others following me. I saw Fang, Nudge, Iggy, Gassman, Angel, Total, and...me? "HEY!! GUYS!!" I yelled with a smile. Fang looked up and shielded his eyes. I saw Fang look back over to the others and Nudge started bouncing. Angel did an outright happy dance and Gazzy punched a fist into the air.

I came to a clumsy landing in front of my Flock and practically fell into their arms. "I missed you guys!" I said, getting hugs from all of them. I heard the other birdkids land behind me and the Flock tensed up.

"Who are they?" Fang asked, staring at them.

"I met them along the way," I replied, looking over Fang's shoulder at the other me. "Who's she?" I asked, pointing to her.

"Her name is Jasmine..." Angel replied, looking at Thing 1 and Thing 2. "What are they're names?" She asked me. I introduced the group to the Flock, and vice verse, then, I walked over to Jasmine.

"Okay, first off, you're mom's really worried about you. Second, how did you get mixed up with my Flock?" I asked her immediately. She sighed.

"It's not like I wanted to get mixed up with your Flock. Yeah, they're cool and all, but I really didn't want to have to fight my way through M-Geeks!" Jasmine replied. "Is my mom okay?" She asked quietly. I nodded.

"She thought I was you." I replied softly. Jasmine smiled.

"I bet the wings made her think otherwise..." She said.

"Yeah..." Jasmine didn't seem evil, and she did have a mom, but what was up with her looking EXACTLY like me?? I was definitely going to be keeping and eye on her and on the other group.

"Uh, Max..." I heard Iggy say. I turned around and saw his head cocked to one side. "I hear trouble." I swallowed and got ready for a fight. Great, I'm back with my Flock for five minutes and now we're getting attacked. Just like old times...

Glenn Beck

Okay, first I have to say: Holy cow, I didn't know so many people actually read my blog. O.o Wowzers... Also, congrats to Christine (aka Souldier...I think...) for guessing that the correct answer to "Guess that Person" was GLENN BECK!!! So, here's the Glenn Beck post. With a side note that I ACTUALLY HAVE BLOG READERS!!! WHOO!!! *happy dances*

Okay, Glenn Beck rules. :D He's new to the Fox News world, but already he rocks. I pretty much already told you all about him in my last post, so now I'll just tell you how cool his common sense stuff is. :P

He basically thinks the same way (politically) as me, and I'm pretty sure the same way as a lot of Americans. In the way that...we need to take our country back and get back to what we were founded on. And spend less. >.< Also, we need to turn away from the path to Socialism. If you read history...you will know that (even in America!) that doesn't work. At all. Also, we need to look beyond party boundary lines and look for the good ideas! I mean, does it really matter what party I am? I don't think so. Do you?

Anyhoo, that's about it, I do believe. So happy reading. :)

(P.S. To all my lovely readers (that I'm hoping aren't figments of my imagination...) you can comment more than once a month. :P)

I don't get it...

Okay, am I stupid or something? Because I don't get why people hate other people... it confuses me. Like, Hannah Montana. What did she ever do to those people that hate her?? Do you have an answer for that? No, neither do I. There are lots of things I don't like, but...I can't think of anyone or anything that I absolutely detest. Pain, well...that's one thing I could do without. But, I learn to live with it, so I don't hate it. Do I like it? No. I just...I don't get the whole "Hate" thing... The only thing I can think of that I hate is evil stuff. Stuff that goes against the Bible. *thinks hard* ...nope, I can't think of anyone who I despise to the marrow of my being. There are movies I don't like, but I'm not going to go around saying "THAT'S A STUPID MOVIE! I HATE IT!!" I have least favorite movies, but I don't go around bashing it. That's mean. So, maybe it's less of the "hate" thing that i don't like, maybe it's more of the "people-going-around-being-haters" thing I don't like...

I don't know. I don't get it. Someone clue me in, will ya?

Pictures!

Guess who it is! :P He's okay...I suppose...
I'm always a day late and a dollar short! But I hope you'll think it's cute anyways. :P

I hate this one. It looks terrible. I totally screwed up on it. I'm not even going to tell you who they are. Instead, I shall rate them on a scale of 1-10. (1 = aweful and 10 = awesome):
Little blond girl: I give her a -3. I totally screwed up her nose in inking and she was just a plain old pain in the patookey to draw. *growls*
Brown girl: Too tall...but not that bad...I like her pose... I give her a 5.
Black haired boy: He gets a -2. He just doesn't look right. >.<>
Middle girl: GAH!!! I abhor how she looks in this picture. She gets a -5. I hope she likes it. *Glares*
Tall blond boy: Too tall, arm looks weird, and he just looks...awkward. He gets a 1.
Short blond boy: He gets a 5 too...
Dog: Blech...I'll give him a 6, just because I enjoyed drawing his wings...even though they're WRONG. Grrrr... *eye twitches*

The camera really messed up the shading I did on Fang...oh well... Uh, I guess enjoy all the pictures except the icky one... >.> :P

Tea Parties

Did you go to one? Alas, I could not. You know, with school and mom and dad both having to work... So, unfortunately, we didn't get to a tea party. What's that? You don't know what I'm talking about? Okay, here it is:

Across the United States of America today, "Tea Parties" were being held to protest the governments outrageous spending program and the fact that the governments gotten a little bit too much into our personal lives. They're called Tea Parties because of the Boston Tea Party where Americans protested against taxation without representation. So, that's what the Tea Parties are about.

Glenn Beck went to one at the Alamo in Texas, and we watched while we were eating dinner. It was cool. He talked about how we as Americans need to stand up for the truth, not just parties. We need to stand up for what's RIGHT. Not "right" or "left", just for the truth. I love America, but we need to get our senses together. Mostly common sense. We're on the road to Socialism, which, let me tell you, isn't a good thing. It's a very BAD thing. Very bad. So, let's get our heads together and tell the government that they work for us. We elected those people! It's time they start doing what we told them to. Their job is to protect us and our freedoms, not take them away.

Now, I don't want anyone commenting on this post. Usually, I like to know people are reading my blog, but I don't want to get into a debate with someone on my blog. So just read, or not read. You have that freedom. For now. ;)

Happy Easter, Peeps!

Little bit of punny humor, there. :P Well, happy Easter to you, my blog readers. :D I've had an awesome Easter. First, we came down stairs and found our Easter baskets, which my baby brother loved because his had Play-Dough in it. :P I liked mine because it had BOLT in it. My other brother got a small sketchpad and blue jeans. Very practical. :P

Next, we went to church and we kids did a program telling the story about Jesus coming to Earth to save us all from our sins and death. (Also, one of the guys in our church recited like, 100 and some verses from the book of Luke about the death and resurrection of Christ. He did it very well.) The program was really good. :)

Then we came home and ate lunch and died Easter eggs and watched BOLT! Which I love.

But even through all the festivities, we must remember the true reason for the season: Jesus dying on the cross to save us from our sins, then rising again on the third day and conquering over the grave! So, I will now wish you all a happy Easter, and hope you remember and are thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made.

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter seven

As I flew, I followed the Voice's directions, hoping they were right and not leading me on a wild goose chase. You wanna know what's cool? Watching the sunrise from the sky. Seriously. You should try it some time. Oh, wait...you probably don't' have wings. Okay, I'll describe it to you: First, you see the pinks, oranges, and reds, gently making the sky lighter. Next, the very top of the sun peeks over the horizon. Then, the sky gets brighter, the colors more vibrant, until the whole sun is out of its hiding place and making everything below you look golden. It's also glaring straight into your eyes so you have to squint, but it's worth it.

After the sun had risen, I noticed some small black dots making their way towards me. It looked like three little black dots. As they got closer, I began to realize they were getting bigger. Small plane or big birds...? I wondered to myself, beginning to tense. I saw something on them move, and realized they were wings. Okay, big birds...REALLY big birds... I began breathing deeper, calculating a strategy. I knew these weren't birds. I couldn't see them clearly because the sun was directly behind them, but I knew they weren't birds. "Okay, Max...think..." I whispered to myself. Then I got an idea. I began flying higher, trying to get above them. They were getting closer, so I was gonna have to act fast. I began pounding my wings, going faster and faster, trying to go fast enough that it they wanted to hurt me, they were gonna have to have really good timing. I was going so fast the world below me became a blur, but I knew I wasn't going fast enough. Suddenly, one of the black things shot up in front of me. I tried to slow down, but it was too late. We collided, and both of us went tumbling down.

I heard a scream as the wind rushed past my ears, and I glanced over. The thing that had smashed me turned out to be a fellow bird-girl. I remembered I had wings and began flapping them again, but the other girl didn't. I think she may have been a bit dazed from the impact... I was just about to go grab her when something shot past me. It was another bird-kid, a boy. He flew underneath the girl and grabbed her, bringing her back up to me and the rest of his group. Turns out, there were actually four of them. The boy, the girl who had crashed into me, and two smaller girls who looked kinda like twins. The boy glared at me, scanning me up and down. I did the same to him and the rest of his little clan.

"Who are you?" He growled at me. I folded my arms over my chest and hovered in midair.

"Maximum Ride, who are you?" I growled, just as fiercely, if not more.

"Whaaa?" The girl in his arms said, coming to. She looked over at me then jumped out of the boys arms into the air.

"Who are you?" I repeated, not letting my voice waver a bit.

"I'm Sam." The boy said. "This is Kalie," he motioned to the girl who had been in his arms, "and those two are Thing 1 and Thing 2." The two younger girls smiled and giggled.

"Are you seriously Maximum Ride?" Kalie asked, flying a bit closer to me.

"Yeah..." I said, moving backwards as she came forward. Kalie smiled and turned to Sam.

"Dude, it's seriously her!" She said, beaming. Sam simultaneously shrugged and nodded.

"Where's the rest of your Flock?" Thing 1 asked. I shrugged.

"You don't know where they are?" Thing 2 gasped. I nodded.

"We got separated. I'm trying to find them now." I said, trying to figure out if I could actually trust these guys.

"Want some help?" Kalie asked.

"I don't need any help, but thanks." I said, smiling an incredibly fake smile at her. Kalie glanced over her shoulder at Sam. He nodded.

"Strength in numbers." He simply said. I sighed. He had a point, but I couldn't just trust these guys...

"Don't worry, we're not working with Itex or anybody bad." Kalie said, sensing my...fear isn't the right word, but I wasn't happy.

Help is never a bad thing, Max. The Voice said. I sighed and rolled my eyes. I looked over their little group again and shrugged.

"If you wanna tag along, you can. But one wrong move and I'll kick all your butts at once." I said firmly. Kalie nodded, Thing 1 and Thing 2 hi-fived, and Sam just stared at me gravely. I turned and began flying East again, with a small group following me. I really hoped I hadn't just put the nails in my own coffin with these guys...

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter six

I walked into the store, which was pretty big. I casually strolled over to where I saw sandwiches in little plastic containers. I looked through them and found one that was big and cheap, picked it up, took it to the checkout line, paid for it, then looked for someplace to eat it. I walked past the produce section, past the meat area (You know, where they cut the ham and stuff for you. Man, did it smell good...) then, past an actual little ice cream table...or whatever you call it. I glanced at the flavors and decided I would investigate the ice cream more after I ate my sandwich. I walked just past the ice cream and came to an area where there were chairs, tables, a soda fountain thingy, and an island in the middle that had a microwave, plates, napkins and silverware on it. I sat down at a table and scarfed down my sandwich. Let me tell you, it was gooood. But, it wasn't near enough to fill me up, so I went and got a cup of ice cream. It was one dollar for like, three scoops. I was happy. And had blue lips. (Blue Moon'll do that to ya.)

After I was kinda full, I wandered around looking for a place to crash for a bit. I was already half asleep, so if an Eraser would have walked up to me, I wouldn't have known it. Finally, I found the comfy aisle with the chairs and sofas and stuff. I didn't pick one on the floor where everyone could see me, though. Instead, I whipped out my wings and in a flash, I was up on a couch on the next level thingy...I curled up with my wings tucked tight around me, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.

"WILL CHRIS MALKOWSKI PLEASE COME TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK. YOUR WIFE IS WAITING HERE FOR YOU." I jumped while still laying on the couch, my eyes shot open, and I bolted upright. I sighed and calmed my breathing down, realizing it was the same loud voice that had been waking my up every half hour. It was coming over the loudspeaker, and I really wanted to rip those things out so I could have a peaceful sleep. I blinked a few times and looked around for a clock. There wasn't one in sight, but I was feeling rested enough to start flying again, so I got up.

I basically just jumped down to the floor with me wings out, then quickly folded them in. I began walking towards the exit, glancing around casually for a clock. I saw one, and it told me that it was 3:30 A.M. I figured that was a find time to fly, so I walked out, surprised that no one gave me a second glance.

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter five

I kept my eyes down on the road, for the most part, while I was flying. Flying is an exhilarating thing, but some of the 'coolness' gets taken away when your on a mission to find someone. Or six someones...seven if you count Total. I was slightly relieved that mystery girl was with the Flock, because that meant I didn't have to go look for her at Itex. Unfortunately, that also meant Itex didn't have her, which made her slightly suspicious. If Itex had had her, then I wouldn't have been suspicious that she was working with them. But since she happens to look identical to me, well, that makes me think of Pseudo Max, which brings lots of bad memories flooding back, which gets me steamed all over again.

Don't worry about her right now, Max. Just worry about finding your Flock. The voice said. I wasn't happy, and he...it...was just making me angrier.

Please go away. I thought in my most mean/sarcastic voice. There was no reply, and that perked my spirits up for about a millisecond. My trail of thought started to wander, and I wondered if my Flock had told the whole story to the salesman. It didn't sound like it, but I didn't really ask for the whole story, so it wouldn't surprise me if they had. It also occurred to me that they had taken a car, which narrowed down my search for them.

She must not have wings, then. I decided. Suddenly, I stopped. I had come to a point where the highway the Flock had supposedly been on branched off into two smaller roads. I sighed and rubbed my forehead. How was I supposed to know which way they had gone?

Go left. The voice said.

Why? I asked.

Trust me. The voice replied. I sighed and figured I didn't have much else to go on, so I went left. I really hoped that decision wouldn't come back to bite me in the bum.

I flew along that road for who knows now long, going straight. The road took me over miles of field, filled with corn and other vegetables. Whenever I came to a crossroad (which wasn't often) the voice told me to keep going straight. Now, I don't trust the voice, but it's not like I could smell my Flock. (Even though they do stink like...well, kids who haven't properly bathed for a month...) Eventually, the sky started to darken, and I started to get tired and hungry. I had no idea where I was, if I was even in the same state we had been in before. All I knew was that I had to find a place to sleep and a place to eat. Then, I saw it. A 24-hour supermarket. I circled in for a landing around back and sighed with a mix of sadness and satisfaction. Sadness because I couldn't keep going to find my Flock, satisfaction because I was going to get fooood...

MR Fanfic (MPOV) Chapter four

I don't know how long I had been flying for, but it felt like too long. I was circling the nearby skies to try to find my Flock. I had circled around the mall a few times and hadn't seen the van, then I had flown over gas stations, restaraunts...all kinda of places. I didn't see my Flock anywhere. People occasionally saw my shadow go overhead, and looked up. Some people waved at me. I didn't wave back. I was on a mission. Well, technically, two. Man, Max, that was a stupid idea... I told myself, thinking about the fact that I had promised that girl's mom that I would find her daughter.

It wasn't stupid, Max. The voice chimed in. I rolled my eyes and glared at nothing. It was the right thing to do, and you know it.

Okay, whatever. I just have to find my Flock, okay? I thought, glancing down at a car dealership. There were a bunch of policemen and salesmen circled around what appeared to be a pile of...robot pieces? I decided to fly in for a landing around back.

I walked around back, looking totally normal, except for my wind-blown hair. One of the salesmen glanced over his shoulder, looked back to the policeman, then back at me. "Hey, what are you doing back here...?" He asked me, looking confused.

"What?" I asked, probably looking equally confused.

"Where's the rest of your clan?" He began walking towards me and all of my muscles automatically tensed.

"What do you mean?" I studied his face hard as I spoke. He looked completely confused, now.

"You were here earlier...but you left with the other kids...and now you're back..." He said slowly.

"Okay, explain!" I said, getting really annoyed.

"Uh, you came in with three boys, two other girls, and I think I saw a little black dog. You told me you were looking for a big, cheap car. While you and I were talking, a car blew up, and evidentally a bunch of other ones got destroyed. When we and the police looked back at the video footage, we saw that it was a bunch of...well...robots. You and your...boyfriend, I'm assuming, explained that you were being chased by these robots, and the reason they blew the car up was becuase they were looking for you..." He stopped, as I began pacing.

"Okay, I'm not the girl that was here earlier, but we are like, twins of some kind." I said quickly.

"Okay..." He said slowly. His confusion was starting to annoy me. And I was already annoyed.

"All I need to know is how they left and which way they went." I said, breathing deeply.

"They left in a van, going that way..." The salesman pointed west, down the road, and I nodded.

"Thanks, I guess." I said, then began running along the road. People have seen me enough with my wings out that taking off infront of people doesn't really bug me too much anymore. Especially if I need to get to my Flock as fast as possible.

I heard some gasps behind me, and even looked at the kids in the car I was taking off next to. There was a little girl in the car, staring at me with her mouth open. It was pretty funny. I waved to her then was up into the sky in an instant of pounding wings and flexing muscles.

MR Fanfic (TPPOV) Chapter 3

"What are we gonna do now?" Nudge asked, leaning forward to look at Jamsmine. Everyone else in the van turned to look at her too.

"What?" Jazz asked, backing into her seat as much as possible.

"Sorry, it's just that we're always used to Max knowing what to do, and you look like Max..." Gazzy began.

"So we thought you'd come up with something quick." Iggy finished. Gazzy nodded.

"But she's not Max, so we need to go back to the mall to get Max!" Angel said, her face sad. Fang was driving again, looking for a place to do a U-turn.

"I don't think so..." Gazzy said. His head was out one of the backseat windows, and he was looking up at the sky.

"Why not?" Fang asked, still looking for a place to turn.

"Because there are a bunch of Robo-brains chasing us. They're flying a little ways behind us." Gazzy said. Jazz glanced out the window, trying to see the robots. She saw them in the form of a black swarm in the distance. She looked forward as Fang growled.

"This is not a good day..." He mumbled.

"No kidding." Jazz agreed. Suddenly, she got an idea. "QUICK! Pull in there!" She yelled, making everyone else jump. She was pointing to a car dealership not too far ahead.

"WHY?" Fang screamed, trying to get into the other lane.

"BECAUSE I SAID SO!" Jasmine yelled back at him. Fang set his jaw and swerved dangerously into the parking lot of the car dealership. Jazz scanned along the rows of cars and saw an open spot in between to cars for sale. "Pull in there!" She said, pointing to the open space. Fang pulled the car in while Jazz continued talking to the others. "Okay, everyone head inside. You guys go into the bathroom, Fang and I will stay out and pretend we're looking for a new car. Okay?" Jazz said, looking at all the other kids. They nodded then jumped out of the car and ran inside.

Inside, it looked like any other car dealership, except that there were a bunch of kids running through the door. One of the salesmen looked over and smiled at them. Nudge and Angel headed for the girl's restroom, with Total hidden beneath Nudge's arms. Gazzy and Iggy made a beeline for the boy's room while Fang and Jazz smiled at the salesman.

"Can I help you with anything?" The salesman asked, approaching them. Fang tensed and glanced out the window-walls while Jasmine began talking to the salesman.

"Hi, we're in need of a new car." Jazz said, looking over the salesman's shoulder. She was watching the robots tear apart van after van, trying to find her and the bird kids. They got to their van. Jazz leaned over to Fang and whispered into his ear. "Why don't you go check on the boys?" Fang walked back to the boy's bathroom and Jasmine turned back to the salesman.

"What kind of car are you interested in?" The salesman asked.

"Something big, but cheap. Lots of people to teleport, but not a lot of cash." Jazz chuckled. "Our old van is really beat up. I mean, it's dented...missing a door..." Jasmine was telling the truth. The M-Geeks had gotten to their van and had ripped off the passenger door, and dented in the sides. One of the M-Geeks pulled up the hood of the van and ripped the engine right out of it. "I'm pretty sure the engine doesn't work, as well." Jasmine said with a smile.

"Wow, sounds like a pretty used and beat up car! How long have you had it?" Asked the salesman, completely oblivious to the fact that the M-Geeks had moved onto the other cars in the parking lot.

"A while...I can't give you an exact amount of time, though." Jasmine smiled then flinched as a boom went off behind the salesman. One of the cars had exploded after a smash in the wrong spot from an M-Geek. Everyone else in the building jumped and turned to see the flaming remains of a vehicle and M-Geeks.

"What was that?!?" The salesman shouted. While everyone was distracted, Jazz dashed off to the girl's bathroom. Nudge, Angel and Total were all standing there, waiting.

"What was that big 'boom'?" Asked Nudge, the second that Jasmine walked through the door.

"A car." Jazz said, beginning to pace.

"Continue..." Nudge said, motioning for Jasmine to keep going.

"An M-Geek blew a car up, therefore blowing up all of the other M-Geeks."

"So, it wasn't Gazzy or Iggy?" Nudge said, just for clarification.

"No, it was not." Jazz answered. Angel was holding Total, watching Jasmine through this entire conversation.

"What are we gonna do now?" She asked innocently. Jazz sighed.

"I'm not sure..." She replied. Nudge sighed then stomped over to Jasmine and raised up the back of her shirt in a matter of seconds.

"Hey!" Jazz screamed, taken completely off guard.

"Nope, definitely not Max. Unless you got the power of making your wings go invisible..." Nudge said, letting Jazz's shirt fall back down her back. Jazz stared at Nudge like she was crazy.

"Come on, let's go talk to Fang and the boys." Jasmine said, leading the girls and Total out.
