New Blog Layout!

So, what do you guys think? As you can see, I've totally changed the layout of my blog. New background, new fonts, new side for the sidebar, all that jazz. I've added a few new things and removed a few things, too. Let me know what you think!

P.S. I was thinking of Reesie as I added the "Search This Blog" thing down at the very bottom of the screen... Enjoy it, Reesie.

Guess Those People!

*announcer* That's right, folks! It's time for your favorite game once more! Say it with me! *audience* Guess! Those! People! *announcer* And now, here's your host, Mii Maker!

*Mii walks onto stage and waves to crowd* Thank you, Bill! Now, let's get to the game, shall we? Today, we'll be looking at a few different pictures of three people. What you have to do is correctly tell me who they are, and you'll win a prize! Tell 'em what their prize is, Bill!

*announcer* You got it, Mii! Today's winners will win FIVE Mii points*!

*Mii* Wow! Five Mii points*? What a deal! Now, everyone is eligible for this contest and there can be multiple winners. However, if you're suspected of cheating, you will be disqualified! I'm really not sure how you would cheat on something like this, but I'm sure you guys could figure that out... All right, I'm going to show you the pictures then give you a few brief descriptions to help you figure our who these people are. On with the show!

These first few pictures are pictures of the individual people. The group pictures are after these.

At first, this kid appears normal, but he's got a secret identity as his town's protector and renowned ghostboy!

The humor and tech-geek of the business, this teenager helps his friends fight ghosts, but never knows when to keep his mouth shut...

This goth girl is witty, smart, and has a secret crush on one of her friends... Her family is also stinking rich, even though few people actually know that.

Together, these three friends keep the ghosts that haunt their town in check while making sure that no one finds out about one of their secrets... DUN DUN DUN!
All right, now, submit those answers, people! A colored version will be coming soon!

This is a test or the Mii-mergency Blogcasting System

AKA, this is a blog post of random subjects. The first subject: DOES ANYONE SERIOUSLY READ THIS STUPID BLOG?? I wouldn't blame you if you don't, but I would be very happy if you did. AND POSTED OCCASIONALLY. I mean, would it KILL YOU to leave a comment every once and a while? Yes? Well...I'll admit I wasn't expecting THAT answer...

But seriously, the sidebar claims there are eight PWMRLMB, and yet...I think only one of you has posted on more than one blog post...and even that one PWMRLMB only posts ocasionally... It makes Mii so sad... *sniff*

Next Subject: Vacation!!! We went on one last week, for the whole week. First time we've gone away from home for a week since the Mayo trip, and first time we've gone on a week-long REAL vacation. I mean, you can't really count the medical wonders of Mayo a real vacation when I was being poked and proded a lot of the time. *shakes head* But this vacation was waaaaaay fun! We rented a cottage UP North, did a lot of fishing (I get guilty for a short period of time when I catch fish that are actually big enough to keep... >.> Yes, I'm a strange person...), saw some cool sights, did more fishing, lost a hat in the wind, took a ton of pictures, saw some relatives, got a Cabbage Patch doll from grandma (...>.>...<.<...) then came home. *sigh* It was soooooo much fun!! I loved it. Plus, it's not all over yet! Tomorrow we're leaving for a different location for a couple days. =)

Another Subject: Birthday!! I'm having a birthday soon!!! I shall not tell you when it is or how old I will be turning, I shall let you guess. *NOTE* THHers, you don't get to guess correctly, because you'll all ready know. And I don't want any cheating. =P

Final Subject: If any of you read my fanfics, I would love to know what you think of them. If you don't, that's fine. I'll keep writing them anyways.

This has merely been a test of the Mii-mergency Blogcasting System. Thank you for tuning in.

EEEEEEEPPPPPPP!!!!!!

AAAIIIIEEEE!!! WE GOTST A PUPPY TODAAAAAYZ!!! IT MAKEZ MEH FEELZ LIKE TALKIN LIKE THIIIIIZ!!! *girlish squeal* It's a white maltipoo, and he's so cute! He has no name as of this second, although the littlest brother thinks he should be named Bolt. =P (Suggestions are welcome, not necessarily going to be used, though...) The puppy is only, like, four pounds! (And maybe a half) He is so cute and mellow! He's only barked a few times since he's been here, which is good. He's also, like, 95% potty trained, and he hasn't gone tinkle on the carpet! =P He's been outside a few times today, and he likes to chew on sticks, but that's about it. He's tired right now because he's had a busy morning. (We just got him today, after all!) And my littlest brother has been pretty much attached to the puppy. He won't let him nap in peace, and he wants to keep holding him and everything! I've only got to hold the puppy for a little bit today. =P The puppy is napping on mom's lap right now, though, I think. He's lots of fun, and I'm so glad we got to get him!

I'll post pictures of him when I can. Right now, my camera's all full (I only have like, four pictures left in it...) and I haven't downloaded it yet today. The puppies really soft, too. =) He's just adorable. So there will be pictures!

Feel free to suggest good doggie names. His name right now is Squirt, but we don't like that name for him. *shakes head*

And...one last time... (you may want to cover your ears) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!

Independence Day

The boom of the fireworks,
The colors in the sky.
The smell of hotdogs on a grill,
And the wonder of a wondering sigh.

Independence allows us to celebrate
What we have every day.
The freedom to be who we want to be,
And the ability to say what we want to say.

So on this day I remember
Our men and women in arms.
The ones who fought for us then,
And the ones who fight for us now.

So lift up your voices, let freedom ring!
Remember how their blood was shed,
For you and for me, for our country.
And thank them, with a bow of the head.

Glenn Beck

Okay, first I have to say: Holy cow, I didn't know so many people actually read my blog. O.o Wowzers... Also, congrats to Christine (aka Souldier...I think...) for guessing that the correct answer to "Guess that Person" was GLENN BECK!!! So, here's the Glenn Beck post. With a side note that I ACTUALLY HAVE BLOG READERS!!! WHOO!!! *happy dances*

Okay, Glenn Beck rules. :D He's new to the Fox News world, but already he rocks. I pretty much already told you all about him in my last post, so now I'll just tell you how cool his common sense stuff is. :P

He basically thinks the same way (politically) as me, and I'm pretty sure the same way as a lot of Americans. In the way that...we need to take our country back and get back to what we were founded on. And spend less. >.< Also, we need to turn away from the path to Socialism. If you read history...you will know that (even in America!) that doesn't work. At all. Also, we need to look beyond party boundary lines and look for the good ideas! I mean, does it really matter what party I am? I don't think so. Do you?

Anyhoo, that's about it, I do believe. So happy reading. :)

(P.S. To all my lovely readers (that I'm hoping aren't figments of my imagination...) you can comment more than once a month. :P)

MAX

Is the name of the newest Maximum Ride book. WHICH WE HAVE!! WHOO!!!! I haven't finished it yet, though. :( But I'm hoping to tonight. Okay, here's how we saw it, because I totally didn't even realize the book was out:

My mom, me, and my two brothers were walking through the store when I glanced over at the book stand thing and saw this book with MAX written on it in all caps. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that James Patterson's name was on the book too. The first thought going through my head was "Whaaaat?" the second was "Is that the next MR book, or another book JP has written like it?" My third thought was, "GET OVER THERE NOW AND CHECK IT OUT!!" These thoughts all kinda overlapped each other, so it didn't take long to think them all. Long enough for my brother to see I had stopped, though.

"What?" He asked, looking where my gaze was fixed. I told mom to stop then dashed over, my brother following. I grabbed one of the MAX books then read the cover, seeing "A Maximum Ride Novel" written under the enormous title. "Is it another Maximum Ride book?" My brother asked, not quite believing his eyes.

"That's what it says." I replied, and before you could have stopped me, I opened the book and started reading.

Well, there you have it. Mini story for the day. WHOO MAXIMUM RIDE RULES!1!1!1!!

Whew!

Okay, I've been meaning to post the following, but haven't been able to. So here it is, what me and my family did last week. (Starting with the Saturday before last)

Saturday:

We drove up to visit some of our relatives, we mainly wanted to see Grandma because, well, we hadn't in forever. On a good day, the drive is three hours. We got up there and stayed the night with my Uncle Pete and Aunt Betty. (I have some cool pictures of stuff in their house.) We all had fun, and my baby brother enjoyed playing on their "rocking plane" and playing with all of their toys. After a while, we went to bed. Bigger/younger brother (the brother that's not that baby...the baby's not really a baby any more, he's three, but for clarity the three year old with be called "baby brother" and the other one will be called "other brother" :P)...where were we before the rabbit trail? Oh, right, "Other brother" and I slept on inflatable sleeping bags. They were nifty. His was camo, I think, and mine had really bright flowers on it.

Sunday:

We had monkey bread for breakfast, went to a church up there, I went to junior church with baby brother, (which wasn't half bad, actually...) then we went to visit Grandma. We had lunch at her house, and I ate so much that I should have been writhing in pain the rest of the day, but I only got a small stomach ache. (Remember that, okay?) For the rest of the day, we watched Harry Potter. (Insert smilie here) I know you're thinking "What? I thought you went to spend time with your Grandma!" And we did. Thing with that side of the family is, though, that when you get together, you just kinda...chill. Watch TV, talk, eat, that kinda stuff. Nothin' really spiffy. Besides, she was watching it with us. :P (She didn't get it at all...and I had to explain lots to dad because he hasn't read the books. Tisk tisk...) Anyhoo, we watched part of the second one, and most of the third one...I think... (Can't totally remember, though...) Then, when we were getting hungry-ish, we took Grandma to Big Boy. (Oh, while we were there, my Aunt Jean and cousin Micheal came over for a little, and we saw Uncle Caz.) After dinner, we started going home around...eight or nine...AND HEADED STRAIGHT INTO A BLIZZARD!!! O_O We drove for like, five hours!!!! We were all exhausted when we got home...

Monday:

Monday was a day of rest. Me and my bros and dad slept in, no school. Mom did have to go to work, though. :( We went to choir that evening, and it was fun. :) (I ACTUALLY HAVE BUDDIES THERE, NOW! WHOO!!)

Tuesday:

Dentist. bleeeeech...

Wednesday:

We packed to go to the Great Wolf Lodge! (We have one in our area, it rocks.) After dad got home, we went to have fun! We played in the water park, played Magi Quest, had a blast!!!

Thursday:

Played more at GWL, then came home laaaaaaaate at night. We got ice cream before we went home. :)

Friday:

Around seven o'clock ish, some of our friends came over. We had been cleaning the house up when we were home during the week, and we had been cleaning and stuff before they came that day, too. When they FINALLY got here, they stayed until...three a.m., ish? Oh yeah, it was a blast. Tacos, card games, talking, laughing, snacks...pure awesomeness. (We also watched Glenn Beck before they came, and let me tell you, he'll be getting a post pretty soon. Go Beck!)

Saturday:

After we all woke from our comas, we went back to the Great Wolf Lodge. :D I'm pretty sure my baby brother is starting to think of it as a second home after this week. :P Lemme tell ya, I could live at a GWL...

Sunday:

We went to church and relaxed. Busy week...fun week. I love it when dad has vacation time. :)

Monday:

Choir, again. Not as fun as the week before, but not torture. :P

Tuesday:

Once again, we went to the Great Wolf Lodge! (We had time left on our wands, little did we know our bands would be good too! But we didn't bring swim stuff... *sigh*) Came home when we were done playing and watched American Idol. GO DANNY GOKE!!! My fave quote from American Idol was "It left me confused...yet, happy!" I almost fell off my chair I laughed so hard when I heard that.

Wednesday:

Real life...but it's pretty good. :)

Okay, now you're all caught up on my life...I guess. We had fun, and I hope you had fun too. :D

More drawings!

This was another request from my buddy, Sadie. I go to this other website called "Teen Homeschool Hang" or "THH" for short, and there's this game called the "THH President Game" Where you can nominate people to be the "President" for a month. Last month I tied for first, then came in second on the tie-breaker. This month, I nominated Sadie, and she asked me to be her Vice President and asked Thomas (The boy in the pic) to be her Secretary of State. Then, Sadie asked me to draw a picture of us in a "Gangsta" pose, as she called it. And in suites and fedora hats. First time at the hats! Whoo! :P And that's our team name at the bottom. :)
And this is the "Other - newbies" Picture that goes with the two Sonic characters ones. Next one will be an "Other - Oldies" picture. :P

Enjoy, all you peeps who read my blog! :D

MY FIRST REQUEST!!!

This is my first request. It was made by two friends of mine. The story behind it is one day we were being goofy and we pretended we were a band. I'm the one with the brown hair, the one on the drums is Sadie, and the one with the other guitar is Aussie. (These were online friends, by the way. :P) The girl off to the side of the stage wanted to be in the picture/band AFTER I had finished outlining it, so I was like "GAH!" So I added her to the audience. :P Her name's Reesie. :P Well, not her real name...but you get what I mean. Anyhoo, MY FIRST REQUEST FROM PEOPLE NOT IN MY FAMILY! WHOO!! *happy dances*
Okay, that's all. :D

This goes with the Sonic picture

IT'S SOME OF THE BAD GUYS! I love how they look. I do believe that I've drawn Jet, Shadow and Rouge one other time besides this...I think it was one time...can't remember, though, because it was forever ago. :P Anyhoo, I really like this one. Enjoy! :D

I love church...

A year ago, I probably wouldn't have said that to you. I dunno where we were a year ago, but I know it wasn't here. But I love it at our church. Our pastor makes you look at things differently, and it's really good. He taught our Sunday school lesson this Sunday, and it was about Psalm 23. He had us write it down, then split it up into 9 couplets, like a poem. When we looked at it again, we realized there was a beginning, middle, and an end. We just looked at it in a different way. It was awesome. :) I thank God that I like my church so much, and the people there too.

Total happiness splashed by cold reality

I SAW AN ALVIN PLUSHIE YESTERDAY!!!!! AND IT WAS SOOO CUTE!! EEEEEEP!!!!! :D But... *sniff* it came with the movie that we already have. :( And I saw the new CD, UndeniAble...but mom wouldn't let me get it because it's on my Christmas wish list. *boo-hoo!* :P *sigh* My brother said I just about had a heart attack when I saw it...and he said it was funny... :P Sad and happy news for the day. (:)

My brother is the next great theological mind!

Okay, that's stretching it. :P By a lot. But, the other night, he did say something very deep. So deep, that I have to put it on here.

"But being human means going back to your sinful nature. I'd rather be Christian and be thought of as weird than go back to my sinful nature."

That may not be exact word-for-word, but it's pretty close. Here's MY version of it, meaning my wording.

"Being human would mean reverting back to your sinful nature, because we as humans are born with it. I'd rather be a Christian and be considered weird than go back to sin."

And now you have your lovely quote for the day. ;)

Pictures, pictures, and...more pictures!

This was the first picture I drew in the notebook I got for my birthday this year. :D I was playing with shading, but you dan't see it all that well on here...
Alvin...up to something...see the description for Theodore, and just insert Alvin where his name is. :P
This is a character that I made up for a Sonic fan fiction I'm gonna eventually write. Her name is X, and she's kinda my equivalent to a person in the Sonic world. I think she looks great. :D
This is my bro's character for the before mentioned fanfic. His name is Iggy.
Theodore baked me a cake! This was a picture I drew for my own birthday. :D I think it's cute...but Theo's the cutest. :P
The Chipmunks in action...I don't wanna give too much away, except that Simon has air around him, not water.

This is a Chibbi version of my baby bro. He's so sweet. :)
My 9-11 picture.
Manga face!!! I love the eyes!!!
...I guess I liked it so much that I accidentally uploaded it twice...oops...
This is un-colored, new-and-improved, Theodore!! I DREW A CUTE THEODORE!!! No, I did not steal this from KA. I just figured out how she draws her pictures through keen observation. *sneaky* :P

Wizard! :P What can I say? I was bored and inspired.
This one's for Rae...it's a terrible drawing of Scruffy. I hope you don't puke on your computer when you see it.
A flower, that I drew in the car. :D I actually started it by looking out the window, and since I could see the reflection of the paper in it, I just drew a kinda squiggly line, and it became the flower. :)
This was drawn in the same car as the flower...a bunch of lines...that make a picture...funky...
This is a Chibbi version of my cousin. Isn't it cute?

This is my baby bro and my cousin, inspired by a real scene where the baby took the big kids hat. :P Yeah, I know, it's not fully colored...deal with it. :P
This is my interpretation (kinda) of Maximum Ride...cartoon form.
Fang looks bored...:P
Iggy and Gassy are up to no good...I can tell that Gassman's attempt to look innocent is futile. :P
And Nudge. :D Angel and Total (and Akila, I guess) have not been drawn yet...heh heh...

A not fully colored picture of Sonic and Tails. It was for my bro when he came back from camp.
Another not fully colored pic of Sonic and Tails.
This is based on the song "Cinderella" which is beautiful and touching and an awesome song...I'll probably have a post dedicated to it later.
This is Max, Jamie and Miku from my Exo Force Fan fiction, for those of you who have read it.
My bro!!! Isn't he cute? :P

I haven't posted pictures in a while, so there are a lot to show...heh heh...I apologize for not posting them sooner, since I'm almost done with the notebook that I'm in...and started in the one I got for my birthday. :D I apologize for any blurriness in the pictures...I have to take them with my camera, so... I sure have improved...and over a period of months! Just goes to show you that practice really does make perfect. So, keep practicing, and enjoy! :D

EEEEP!!! *girlish scream of happiness* I'VE BEEN PUBLISHED!!!

Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "Your book got published! Mii that's totally awesome!!!" But it wasn't my book. A bazillion years ago, I sent in a picture to Focus on the Family's Adventures in Odyssey department thingy. It was inspired by a certain episode of the radio series. (Which, is totally awesome, no matter what age you are.) And, they've just come out with a new book that has a bunch of things about Odyssey in it. And they just happened to publish some pictures in it as well. AND ONE OF THEM WAS MINE!!! Okay, the picture is totally awful, as far as I can remember, but I've been published!!!! EEEEP!!! And, to add to this happiness, I GOT THE LETTER THAT SAID MY BOOK WAS OFFICIALLY COPYRIGHTED!!!!!! Today is wonderful...and I drew an awesome picture. :P *sigh of pure bliss* I hope that you, too, will be happy today. :D
