I don't get it...

Okay, am I stupid or something? Because I don't get why people hate other people... it confuses me. Like, Hannah Montana. What did she ever do to those people that hate her?? Do you have an answer for that? No, neither do I. There are lots of things I don't like, but...I can't think of anyone or anything that I absolutely detest. Pain, well...that's one thing I could do without. But, I learn to live with it, so I don't hate it. Do I like it? No. I just...I don't get the whole "Hate" thing... The only thing I can think of that I hate is evil stuff. Stuff that goes against the Bible. *thinks hard* ...nope, I can't think of anyone who I despise to the marrow of my being. There are movies I don't like, but I'm not going to go around saying "THAT'S A STUPID MOVIE! I HATE IT!!" I have least favorite movies, but I don't go around bashing it. That's mean. So, maybe it's less of the "hate" thing that i don't like, maybe it's more of the "people-going-around-being-haters" thing I don't like...

I don't know. I don't get it. Someone clue me in, will ya?

i hate hate.

unless it's hating evil then yah i am with you on that.

i think miley has more haters than fans. i'm not a fan of her, but i think it's lame ppl hate her. and what's worse is they think they're so dang cool for it too (i've even met someone online who was like ' i hate miley and i'm proud of it.' like how lame is that?)
yah i am with you on this. i hate it when ppl go around bashing and hating. it grills me even if i'm not into whatever they're bashing and hating.

but i think i can answer it...
ppl just want to get their hate out on something, they think it's fun to hate and cool to hate. it's one of those sensations, it somehow makes them feel good. things of the flesh, you know? and sometimes it's hard not to hate, i will admit.

ohhh and i just thought of another possibility... it might make them feel better about themselves. you know how ppl put others down to pull themselves up? you know? insecurity, maybe. *shrug* ask them :P

I too dislike hate. It is illogical, unproductive and just plain idiotic.

I personally am not a fan of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. I do not hate her, I simply don't enjoy her music/acting. As for the hardcore Hannah haters they are (for the most part) just very angry people. There's no real reason for their hate other than to let out frustration and make themselves feel better/cooler. This is a very sad thing and I pity them to some extent. Especially since they fixate and dwell on something that is just an idiotic waste of their time.

It's good to keep in mind that "hate" is mostly used in a hyperbolic sort of way these days, especially on the internet. People use the term "hate" when they're really just describing mild irritation or dislike.

I don't know if this helps any but I tried. ^_^;;
